End of week assignment - Character Creation 01

This week our task was to make a low poly mesh out of a high poly mesh in Maya. Our focus was to be on edgeflow and making it possible for the face to deform properly when animating.

End of week assignment - Character Development 02

This week our assignment was to continue developing the character we started last week.

Drawing
This week we focused on how clothing falls and folds when drawing.








Idea Development
Last week, my idea was to have an otter fisherman, but it changed and moved towards a martial artist. That way I could play with protective clothing, weapons etc. I could also draw the otter in a cool martial arts stance.

This week our assignment was to develop a character meant for a platform game.

We did some drawing this week as well, focusing on silhouettes.




Idea development

My idea this week started with a human male burglar, but over time it became a humanoid otter fisherman with a backpack. I created a moodboard to get the general feel of it.
